Life Style: The moth is single brooded flying in summer and coming to light. The larvae feed on mint and related species preferring wetland habitats.

Identification: Psammotis pulveralis has white through yellow brown to light pinkish brown wings irrorate with scales darker than the wing colour that also form a pre, post and sub-terminal line and stigmata. They should not be confused with a Geometrid species since both wing pairs are similarly coloured and they have prominent forward pointing palps.
